Pope Francis appoints the Catholic Bishop of Wau Matthew Remijo to be the Apostolic Administrator of Rumbek Diocese.
Monsignor Mark Kadima made the announcement today to the media at the Vatican embassy in Juba.
He adds Bishop Remijo will temporarily govern Rumbek Catholic Diocese until recovery and ordination of the bishop-elect Christian Carlassare.
Monsignor Kadima mentions that this appointment takes effect immediately and at the same time Bishop Matthew Remijo will continue serving as bishop of Wau diocese.
