Bishop Emmanuel Bernadino Lowi. CDOT
Bishop Emmanuel Bernardino Lowi has taken charge of the Catholic Diocese of Torit following his ordination and consecration on Sunday 15th of January 2023 in Torit. Cardinal Gabriel Zuber Wako emeritus of the Archdiocese of Khartoum ordains and installed Bishop Emmanuel Bernardino Lowi at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Torit. Bishop Emmanuel was appointed on the 8th of November 2022 by Pope Francis succeeding Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Mulla who served the Catholic Diocese of Torit as Apostolic Administrator for roughly one year. Bishop Emmanuel becomes the fourth Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
