Lainya County Commissioner said Easter celebrations should change the lives of all people for them to build the nation.

Huda Michael told Radio Easter on Sunday through a phone call that there were a number of issues in the country that needed prayer.

She said she hoped the Easter celebrations brought change for people to build their counties, cities and the country at large and avoid all sorts of crime.

Ms Huda revealed that Lainya County is quiet.

She added that Mundari cattle that were transferred to Terekeka were coming back to Lainya causing problems to the people of the county.

Ms Huda asked God to prevail among the Mundari people so that they stayed in peace with others.

She said she expected love among people of South Sudan to build unity in the country.
