Seventeen suspects of the Farjella killings during the deadly Wau protests last December were brought on Thursday morning to Wau Court to resume the hearing after the trial was suspended due to lack of defence lawyers.
The court heard accuser Martin Manywat Madut and the four defence lawyers about the killing of six people in Farjella believed to be farm workers, Voice of Hope reported.The court scheduled to hear former Wau County Commissioner John Peter Miskin defence advocates next Thursday in order to fix the date for the final ruling.
He is accused of inciting public violence through a phone call.
MP Hassan Ngor Agwer should hear his sentence next Thursday too.
He is accused of disrespecting the bodies of the six farmers killed in Farjella.
