52 SOUTH SUDANESE PRISONERS LAND IN JUBA

Fifty two South Sudanese prisoners who were released by Khartoum arrived in Juba on Monday morning.

The prisoners were taken straight from their cells to the charted flight to Juba paid for by the Khartoum government.

Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster management Minister Joseph Lual Acuil told journalist that he would work with the prison authorities to resettle the repatriated prisoners.

On Friday, acting government spokesperson Madut Biar Yel told journalists that about 216 prisoners were expected to arrived Juba on Monday.
