The Council of Ministers of Central Equatoria held its ordinary meeting on Thursday and decided to rehabilitate the old Nile Printing Press and strengthen the education sector in the state.
Government spokesperson Jacob Aligo Lo-Lado told the press at the end of the meeting that the Cabinet earmarked 200,000 pounds to repair the old machines at the printing press.The cabinet also instructed the ministry of education to prepare a budget to finance education projects.
Mr Lo-Lado said the Council approved the recruitment of almost 1,900 primary teachers and 216 secondary teachers.
Mr Lo-Lado said de Nile Press could print documents for the state offices.
