The Catholic Archbishop of Juba on Monday retuned home from Rome, Italy after attending four months surgical operation on his right knee.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro told the press at Juba international airport that he has been out of the Archdiocese for fours months because of health problem, Bakhita Radio reported.He said the operation took him 40 days.
Archbishop Lukudu added that his absence from the Archdiocese was a pastoral mission that God had planned for him to do.
He said the operation was done successfully.
Archbishop Lukudu said the operation was very difficult but he took it as a pastoral life of suffering for the faithful.
He said he had come back for a break and will be again going to Rome to see the doctor in the beginning of May.
Archbishop Lukudu expressed happiness beacsue he is going to celebrate Easter together with the faithful at the Archdiocese.
Archbishop Lukudu was shocked with the sudden death of father Michael Okello.
He added that the Cardinals are in Rome and within four to five days they will elect a new Pope to will lead the Catholic Church.
