The former Commissioner of Wau County John Peter Miskin is facing ten deferent charges both criminal and administrative after three witnesses have given their testimonies before Wau North Court.
The hearing took place on Tuesday in the presence of three defence lawyers and Government legal advisors, after it was adjourned due to absent of a defence lawyer, Voice of Hope reported.Executive Director of Wau County Fasco Fasquale accused Mr Miskin of escaping with public property, giving false information and misleading subordinates and government over the County transfer.
Mr Fasquale also accused Mr Miskin of instigating violence using the youths of the County and misappropriating of public property after his resignation.
He said Mr Miskin failed to hand over the Commissioner’s vehicle bearing flag and resisting house arrest despite the official letter he received instructing him to hand over the so call sovereign vehicle.
The investigator read out charges revolving around Wau December’s violence.
Three out of ten witnesses testified against the former commissioner.
Mr Fasquale will testify in the next session next Uesday when he brings an official letter mandating him to represent the County.
