Tombura County Commissioner presented his work plans to all the citizens during a tour to three payams.
Babiro Charles Babiro explained the achievements, challenges and the way forward based on the top priorities planned since 2010, Anisa Radio reported.He said some projects like Mamenze Water Spring, 14 boreholes, hospital ambulance and preparation of midwives in Wau were given to NGOs for implementation.
Mr Babiro said the County used the Capital Fund donated from the National Government to supply electricity to Tombura, open 11 surveyed roads and buy furniture for the County Office.
He added that 17 vulnerable students were sponsored in various primary and secondary schools and eight women attended a three- month computer course in Tombura.
