Black market dollar dealers said forex bureaus are favouring big foreign businesses instead of locals in the hard currency market.

Chol Dak, from Lakes State, told CRN that he is doing dollars business in black market since 2006.

He said the business has gone bad since 2011 because forex bureaus prefer to supply dollars to foreign businessmen from Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda and DR Congo for a big profit.

Mathiang Noth from Warrap State said the black market dollar business was very complicated and local people often did not profit from it.

He added local people sleep in front of the forex bureau offices to be on the queue to get dollars.

He said he was worried about the future of the country.

The two dollar dealers want the government to address the supply of dollars to nationals.
