South Sudanese women should pay particular attention to the Bill of Rights in the Transitional Constitution.
This is the message Zeinab Osman from Women Empowerment Network shared with CRN.Ms Osman explained that the Transitional Constitution gives women the right of inheriting land, but that there many other issues that are not clear to women.
She explained that the Bill allows women to marry the person they liked but failed to set a marriage age.
The woman leader explained that the Constitution should establish the age for marriage to end early forced marriages in South Sudan.
Ms Osman made the call while commenting on the extension of the mandate of the National Constitutional Review Commission.
