The Land and Survey Commission of Tonj South County, Warrap State, received heavy road machines on Tuesday.
Chairman Peter Mou Athuai told Don Bosco Radio that his office received two graders for road works.He said UNMISS, the UN Mission in South Sudan, offered the two graders.
Mr Athuai added that he signed an agreement the contractors to start repairing roads and they will start the work as soon as the commissioner inks the document.
He asked the police to help the constructors while surveying roads in Tonj and adjacent villages.
He urged the people of Greater Tonj to respect the constructors and allow them to do their work peacefully.
