Five people died and 12 were injured in Tonj East clashes between Luac-koth and Akok Communities on Saturday.
Thiet Payam Administrator Joseph Anei Madoor told Don Bosco Radio over the phone that Jalwau and Akok members attacked the Luac-Koth in Lara cattle Camp.Mr Madoor explained that one person from Luac-Koth was killed and five were wounded.
The Akok and Jalwau side lost four people and seven others were wounded.
Mr Madoor said no cows were taken during the attack.
He added that the Deputy Governor of Warrap State visited the police forces to secure the situation in Tonj East.
Mr Madoor urged all the people who are fighting to work for peace and reconciliation.
