A South Sudan elections official urged voters not to give up, if their names do not appear on the lists.
Instead they should check the original registers which are now available at polling stations..Jersa Kide Barsaba, spokeperson of Southern Sudan High Elections Committee,noted to SCR News that order of many names has beeen changed.
Ms. Kide also clarified that there is no problem if a ballot paper is put in the wrong box.
She added that during the sorting of the ballots the papers will be put in the right places.
Ms. Kide was speaking Tuesday after a press conference in Juba, called by the National Elections Commission, to explain the progress of elections in Southern Sudan, which shows today a decline in number of voters.
