EASTERN EQUATORIA GETS SECRETARY GENERAL, TWO COMMISSIONERS

The Governor of Eastern Equatoria appointed a state secretary general and new commissioners for Torit and Magwi on Tuesday.

Louis Lobong Lojore appointed former Budi County Commissioner Charles Atul as state secretary general, Radio Emmanuel reported.

Francis Oketch replaced Ben Kingston as Magwi County commissioner while German Ojok is the new Torit County Commissioner replacing William Oyet Omoro.

Mr Oyet thanked God and the state governor for having granted him the opportunity to serve the people of Torit.

He pledges continued loyalty to the governor and said he ready to serve the incoming commissioner.

Mr Oyet called for calm and requested people to desist from any tendencies of violence due to the changes, saying peace is required for all.
