TORIT SECURITY SEARCHES FOR STOLEN BABY

Combined security operatives have taken on the search for a five-day old baby stolen last week by an unknown women form Torit Hospital.

Acting Assistance Administrator of Torit Civil Hospital, Obochi James, told the press that the matter was reported to the police and UNMISS.

Mr Obochi told Radio Emmanuel that the police coordinated with other security organs to mount a search for the stolen baby.

He said he lodged a case against unknown person so that the legal administration could take action.

The legal administration has also issued a search warrant.

An unidentified woman dressed as a nurse on Friday morning disappeared with a five-day old baby from Torit Hospital.

The woman claimed she was taking the baby to the doctor, but she never returned the baby to the ward.
