Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly approved a four-million South Sudanese Pound fund to boost services delivery in the state.
The cash initially requested by Governor Clement Wani Konga was discussed in the parliament in respect to the state Transitional Constitution that asks the assembly’s approval of the fund request, Bakhita Radio reported.Governor Konga wrote that the elections are at the door and the state government has not rendered services to the people.
He said the state ministries were unable to offer services due to lack of money.
Governor Konga asked the State Revenue Authority through the parliament to give four million Pounds for building roads, schools, boreholes and hospitals.
