Lakes State High Elections Committee chairman was physically assaulted in his office yesterday by a group of angry UDSF Main Stream who claimed that the symbol of their party was missing in the ballot papers.
Gabriel Ciek told Good News Radio that over 10 angry men belonging to UDSF Main Stream Party stormed his office and beat him up.
Mr. Ciek said that the UDSF Main Stream Party members claimed that their party symbol, a cow, was missing out on the ballot papers.
He added that it was not true.
However, the head of Cuei Cok Polling Centre confirmed to Good News Radio reporter that the symbol of a cow was truly missing in the ballot paper.
