The Government of United States has donated 300,000 US dollars to the South Sudan National Elections Commission to establish temporary offices.
US Ambassador to South Sudan Suzan Page announced the donation during the inauguration of the National Elections Commission offices on Tuesday in Juba.The Ambassador welcomed the establishment of the National Elections Commission and stressed the importance of the institution for the development of democratic practices in South Sudan.
Ms Page said the Commission will work to make the dream of a strong democracy possible and give voice and power to the people of South Sudan.
