Voters started to queue early morning to vote in Southern Juba but many were unable to cast their vote until late in the morning.
By 6.00 a.m. the police were already at the polling stations, but the voters’ lists and the ballot boxes were not ready by 8.00 a.m.
By 9.30 a.m some people started complaining that their name was not on the voters’ lists.
By midday Mr. Victor had failed to vote after four hours of waiting.
Mr. Victor hinted that some names could have been lost while typing the lists of registered voters.
Many other voters had their registration slips with them but could not identify the polling station where they were supposed to vote.
They had moved from Kator Health Centre to Bakhita Primary School and some further to Comboni School.
Sister Adriana managed to vote after four hours of frustration.
Despite this problem, many voters who could not identify the polling station will try to vote tomorrow.
They appeal to officials to pin the lists of voters outside the main center, where registered people can identify their polling station.
