MP DONATES FACILITIES TO LAINYA HEALTH CENTERS

A Member of the Parliament in Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly donated some goods to health facilities in Lainya County to solve some problems.

Joy Keji, elected on the SPLM party women list, donated mosquito nets, bed sheets to Kupera, Mukaya and Lainya health primary health care centres, Easter Radio reported.

She described the health conditions in the centres as poor and urged more facilities to be put in place to rescue the situation in the health centres.

Ms Keji appealed to the community to cooperate in order to fuel development in the county.

County Health Administrator Victor Buga Ebere said there was need for leaders’ collective responsibility to improve health conditions.

He called for capacity building of the health workers for quick and effective service delivery in the county.

Mr Buga stressed that the county health department had inadequate staff, appealing to the government to intervene to rescue the situation.
