Upper Nile State General Education Ministry conducted a two-day workshop on how to distribute the textbooks it will receive from Juba.
Director for Curriculum Development & Material Production Omot Okony Olok said the 9.2 million textbooks for P1 to P8 will be distributed to all schools in the ten states, Radio Saut al-Mahabba reported.He explained that the aim of the workshop was to introduce to county directors in the process of distribution and management of the textbooks and to provide accurate information about the number of schools and the number of pupils enrolled.
Mr Okony added that the textbooks management is going to involve teachers, parents and pupils.
