Heavy fighting between the SPLM-N and Government forces for the control of a strategic area in the west of Kadugli capital is taking place.
Anur Mohamed Atem said that fighting began since Friday with both sides suffering equal loses.He said four tanks were destroyed in the fighting, two from the SPLA-N and the other two from the SAF.
Mr Mohamed revealed that three SPLM-N soldiers were killed and nine, including him, were injured.
He claimed that SPLM-N forces downed a government’s gunship plane.
