Eastern Equatoria minister for public administration and internal affairs called on the local community to join the fight against crime in order to achieve peace.
Claudio Suleiman Liling asked the community to report crimes on time and help identifying suspects through the mikes of Radio Emmanuel.Mr Suleiman urged community cooperation with the security officers by availing information em to arrest culprits.
He asserted that the responsibility of addressing issues of insecurity lied with every citizen.
Mr Suleiman advised the community to isolate criminals and not to hide information for law enforcement officers to carry out their duties speedily.
The minister appreciated the peaceful atmosphere in Eastern Equatoria during the celebrations of Christmas and New Year.
Mr Suleiman added that people should increase their cooperation with security forces to make the state more peaceful than the previous year and benefit from development.
