Western Bahr El Ghazal General Transport and Transportation Union on Wednesday visited 31 soldiers admitted to Wau Military Hospital.
The soldiers were wounded during an attack by Sudanese Armed Forces in Ketket area of Raja County on January 2 while they were in the parade awaiting the arrival of senior military officials, Voice of Hope reported.Union Chairman Awadh Hassan Achuil said the visit was to boost the morale of the wounded soldiers by offering them some gifts.
He thanked the army for defending the territorial integrity of South Sudan and being pillars of security and stability in the country.
Wau Military Hospital Director General Kour John said the 31 soldiers were being treated for minor wounds and were stable.
The visitors offered some nutritious food items to boost the energies of the wounded soldiers admitted at Wau Military Hospital.
