The Catholic Bishop of Yei has called on ordinary level students who stay at home to start teaching at the local primary schools.
Erkolano Lodu Tombe said they are very good upcoming teachers with better knowledge who need the encouragement so that later they would progress to the secondary teaching, Radio Easter reported.Bishop Lodu appealed to intellectuals to encourage students to start serving the community through teaching.
He advised community leaders, parents and the payam authority to embark on children’s education which is the root of development in the country.
The Bishop made these statements on Sunday at Mary Immaculate parish in Tore payam.
