The Governor of Central Equatoria has called on the new state ministers to deliver services to the citizens.

Clement Wani Konga said the people needed basic services delivery in order to reflect the relative peace in the country, Bakhita Radio reported.

He warned against officials who were not development oriented.

Governor Konga said he would not entertain them.

He stressed that Juba, the national capital, needed a lot to be done to host people from all states and from abroad.

Governor Konga criticized the state revenue authority for not collecting taxes from all institutions in Juba.

He singled out education and agriculture as priorities in order to reduce imports from neighbouring countries.

Governor Konga announced the construction of two new schools in Juba.

The Governor made these statements on Friday morning in Juba after swearing in the new Central Equatoria ministers.
