Eastern Equatoria State Deputy Governor declared 2013 as the year of hard work and peace in the State.
Jerome Gama Surur explained that people must take independence by being self-independent and hard working, Radio Emmanuel reported.He encouraged Eastern Equatoria citizens to promote peace by desisting from criminal activities in order to experience the fruits of peace.
Mr Gama called upon all citizens to help the Government to keep the peace by working together.
The Deputy Governor strongly discouraged cattle raiding and urged cattle keepers to make their herds productive instead.
