The places where citizens can cast their votes from Sunday to Tuesday are marked with a NEC brown flag and function either in buildings, like schools, tents or under big trees.
Edmund Yakani Berizilious, from Sudanese Network for Democratic Elections, told SCR News that the places where polling stations function are marked with a special flag.
He added that the NEC flag is brown in colour and has the NEC symbol: one hand introducing a ballot paper into a box.
Mr. Yakani added that a voting stating is made up of five tables.
In the first table voters identify themselves and get permission to vote.
In the other four tables they cast their votes from the executive candidates (president of the Republic, GoSS president and governor); for candidates for the national assembly, Southern Sudan Assembly and State Assembly, respectively.
Voters are advised to look out for the NEC flag on the area they registered in order to vote from Sunday up to Tuesday in the candidates of their choice.
