The Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio has congratulated the ECS, the Episcopal Church of Sudan, for the success of the centenary celebration of the Yambio diocese and expressed his gratitude for what God has done this year to Western Equatoria State.
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kusala congratulated ECS Bishop Peter Munde of Yambio for the successful centenary celebration and his strong collaboration with the Catholic Church, Anisa Radio reported.He urged all Christians to avoid discriminations and put Jesus Christ at the heart of everything.
Bishop Hiiboro quoted the words of his predecessor bishop Joseph Gasi Abangite who insisted in the collaboration between the Catholic and ECS dioceses for building faith among the communities of Western Equatoria.
Bishop Emeritus Gasi believed that the Centenary celebrations of both the Catholic and ECS presence in Western Equatoria would be an occasion for renewal an take the people back to the Gospel.
