VOTERS TO CHECK NAMES ON POLLING STATIONS LISTS FROM SUNDAY

The Elections Register with the names of all citizens who registered to vote will be made public on Sunday at polling stations and voters should check whether their names are there in order to vote.

Mr. Hezekiah Jonathan, returning officer of the Central Equatoria State High Committee, told SCR News that each polling station will serve 700 voters.

Mr. Jonathan added that the place where people went to register will be the same place where the polling centre will be set up, and each centre will have several polling stations, as many as the registered voters of that area requests.

From Sunday morning, at 8.00 AM, voters should check the lists posted at the entrance of each polling station located in that centre if their names are there and queue were their names are in order to qualify to vote.
