GOVERNOR CAUTIONS AGAINST LAZINESS

Eastern Equatoria state Governor has cautioned ministers and directors to desist from attending funerals and coming late for duty.

Louis Lobong Lojore told the Ministers to keep office time and work hard to deliver services.

He was talking in the state government meeting with the Head of United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Hilde Johnson in Torit.

The governor was responding to a call by UNMISS Chief that the state needs to embark on development to meet the interest of the people.

Hilde F Johnson told Eastern Equatoria government that citizens are longing for development.

She said the first year of independence of South Sudan was wasted without benefit.

Ms Johnson said the coming years the government should shine so that changes are made in the country.

The UNMISS chief praised the development trend taking place in Eastern Equatoria.
