The Education Ministry in the Nuba Mountains plans to open the first Secondary School in Yida camp, South Sudan next year.

Education Director-General, Kuti Ernesto Afjan confirmed that they are ready to implement the plan.

Mr Ernesto said they are expecting to give scholarships and that the boarding will only be provided to female students.
The Director said the secondary school will not have a limit as they are appealing for donors to assist them in the future.
He asserted that they are going to get qualified teachers for the school.
Some Secondary students decided to remain home after the schools closed down in Nuba Mountains due to war in 2011.
