The Catholic Diocese of Yei has officially opened the Year of Faith on the celebration of the solemnity of Christ the King at the Cathedral Church on Sunday.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe said the Pope has called the conversion of faithful and renewal of faith.He added that youth sometimes fall victims because they were promised some money, education or top positions to change their faith.
Bishop Lodu said the Year of Faith will conclude Next Year on the Celebration of the solemnity of Christ Jesus, the King of the universe.
He declared the Year of Faith opened by reading some of the documents to the congregation in the church.
