The ruling party organized a workshop in Rumbek to review the SPLM Constitution, Manifesto, Code of Conduct and Internal Rules and Regulations.
Parmena Awerial, who headed the organizing committee, told Good News Radio that the SPLM is a party of the people and needs to know the views of the grassroots in order to remain in power for the next 30 years.Mr Awerial was very pleased with the positive contribution from the party members during the workshop.
He said it was vital to involve the grassroots in the redrafting of the key party documents.
The SPLM review workshop was attended by Lakes State party chief, Daniel Awet Akot, Governor Chol Tong, state executive members, State Liberation Council and the members of the SPLM from all eight counties.
