Unknown gunmen injured one person on the from Rumbek-Tonj road on Monday.
Oparia Sing told Don Bosco Radio that the attackers stopped their vehicle and one of them ordered him to come down and then one of the gunmen shot him in the waist.He added that there were three armed men and that the man who shot him and two others were hiding in the bush.
Mr Sing is now receiving treatment in Tonj Indeed and Truth Ministry Hospital.
Mr. Sing a Kenyan national was transporting petrol from Rumbek to Wau.
