The national minister of Culture, Youth and Sports has urged the youth to better organize themselves in order to particpate in nation building.
Cirino Hiteng Ofuho told the youth who are reviewing the national constitution that his ministry is about to complete national youth policy to be presented to the cabinet before going to the parliament.Dr Hiteng said the only disappointing thing is division among the youths in South Sudan.
He called on the youth to be well organized and work for one vision.
The minister challenged the youth to live by example by being transparent, accountable and democratic.
Dr Hiteng urged the youth to discourage the habit of lobbying for funds just as local NGOs are doing.
He said the youth should present their programmes to be facilitated only instead of looking for money.
Dr Hiteng said his ministry is planning to organize a national convention for the youth members to elect their leadership.
Currently, South Sudan youths are led by provisional leaders.
