MANY JOURNALISTS LACK ETHICS IN SOUTH SUDAN

Most of the journalists in South Sudan lack journalistic ethics and skills.

Bakhita Radio Director, Albino Tokwaro made the remark when South Sudan Media Forum was graduating 26 journalists of the fourth batch on Saturday at Bakhita Radio.

the journalist were trained on journalism ethics, radio presentation, interview techniques, report writing and marketing.

Mr Tokwaro announced that they are going to register fifth batch later in December.

Joseph Gwado Director for Training in the national ministry of Information and Broadcasting compared journalism profession to sending a soldier to the battle fields.

He called on the graduates to stick to the profession and be consistent when writing.

Mr Gwado added that the ministry is keen to undertake this kind of training in the near future.

Mr Gwado called on the graduates to seek for more trainings to equip themselves with journalistic skills.
