Four suspected raiders killed a woman leaving another wounded in Kimotong, Budi County.
Nauren Loyia said her late daughter Nakinei left behind a one year old child, Radio Emmanuel reported.Nauren who was wounded in the incident is in critical condition in Torit Hospital.
She said raiders driving cattle fired bullets at a hut where they took shelter from the evening rain.
A UNMISS car on Tuesday brought Mama Nauren from Kimotong to Torit State Hospital for treatment.
Budi County Commissioner Maurice Kaunda could not be reached for comments due to poor telephone network.
