Lainya County will start repairing its roads as soon as the rain stops.
Press Secretary Bullen Lugalla told Radio Easter that the Commissioner Kuda Michael Laila called the payam administrators for a meeting on Friday morning.Mr Lugalla said the administrators were instructed to form committees in the payams to rehabilitate local roads.
He added that Ms Kuda called on all payam administrators to collect revenue to repair the roads.
The press secretary said the rehabilitation of the roads was the responsibility of all the residents in the Country.
