The SPLA military headquarter in Western Bahr El Ghazal state has confirmed that martyrs’ salaries shall be suspended after six month from their death.
Division Five General Commander Andrea Dominic Safir said the army started to suspend the salaries of martyrs according to the regulations of SPLA Headquarter Command Council, Voice of Hope reported.He added that the divison is organizing and sending martyrs’ files to the SPLA General Headquarters in Juba.
Martyrs’ families should wait until the headquarters set pensions for all the martyrs.
Mr Dominic urged the families of the martyrs and the communities to be more patient and allow the army to organize the files.
He said the army started to demobilize elder soldiers.
