MALAKAL SECURITY TO IMPROVE AFTER RAIN IS OVER

Upper Nile Police Commissioner said his force is in position to rein in insecurity in Malakal as soon as the rain is over.

Malakal town has witnessed an increase in crimes, especially robberies, during the rainy season, Voice of Love reported.

Nigger elements are also attacking people with pangas in the evening.

Major General James Biel Ruot said the police and other organized forces are ready to curb insecurity in Malakal.

He acknowledged that crimes increased during the rainy season and expressed optimism that it would improve as soon as rain is over.

The Police Commissioner said most of the crimes were committed by thieves, robbers and drunkards.

He added that youth gangs called niggers were other disturbing elements.

Major General Biel told citizens to avoid insecure areas.

He said the police was aware of niggers’ activities in residential areas.

The Police Commissioner told security personnel and citizens in Malakal to cooperate to detect criminals and their hideouts in town.
