An evangelist said God has asked him to preach Jesus’ Gospel in the streets of Juba to rescue people from darkness and witchcraft.
Philip Daniel Eluzia told CRN on Thursday that he started his street ministry since 2007.He was preaching at Juba Town Market, standing in front of a small podium with a handheld loudspeaker in a busy street.
He said God commissioned him to preach the Word of Jesus Christ to everyone in the street so that the listeners become born again and serve the Lord.
Mr Daniel added that South Sudan was a Christian nation but now it has put God aside doing things contrary to Christianity values.
He said many people in South Sudan believed and ask blessings from witchdoctors even though they have Christian names.
Mr Daniel urged the people to believe in Jesus Christ because his name is a blessing to those who put their faith in him.
