Candidates sitting for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in Nuba Mountains have ended their coaching successfully.
Preparations began on August 13 in two centres and ended on October 15 despite of war threats looming over the region.Kumbur Payam Education Supervisor Jargi Kumir Papa said the candidates did some mock examinations and the results were good.
He appreciated the hard work put by students and asked the community to support them.
Mr Kumir appealed to parents to let their children concentrate on revision work ahead of the exams slated for the first week of November and free them from housework.
Nuba Mountains pupils began taking the Kenyan exams in 2009.
