The European Union special envoy for South Sudan and Sudan on Friday visited Western Bahr Ghazal.
The visit aimed at explaining to the people of the state the nine cooperative agreements signed last month in Addis Ababa-Ethiopia and the role played by EU in the process.Rosalind Marsden said EU wants South Sudanese communities to understand the positive part of the nine agreements to both South Sudan and Sudan.
Marsden said the Union has earmarked a budget for development in different departments in South Sudan
Ms. Marsden said the African Union, European Union and the international community are keen to see that the conflict in Blue Nile and South Kordofan is brought to an end.
