The exercise involved all the agricultural department directors in drafting a document that will be adopted for implementation in the next five years.

State Agriculture Minister Lillian Rizik said agriculture investments are paramount to guarantee food security in the state.
Agriculture National consultant Professor Peter Tingwa, said the National Ministry of Agriculture in the last three years had never made any remarkable progress planning.
The five day strategic planning stressed that administrators should get involved in the field rather than being in the office.
