The head of the Episcopal Church of the Sudan (ECS) urged political parties to remain committed to the rules governing the April elections.
Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul told participants at the peace forum this morning in Juba that parties should stick to the guidelines of the upcoming elections.The ECS Archbishop said parties should not divide citizens with their political differences.
Archbishop Deng encouraged citizens to vote for the leaders of their choice.
He said it is an obligation for the people to vote for politicians who will lead them in the next government.
Archbishop Deng was speaking at a peace forum organized by the ECS.
Its purpose was to settle differences between citizens, faiths and political parties ahead of the elections.
