Yei River County Commissioner has praised boda-boda riders for arresting and bringing to the authorities a suspect criminal.
An unnamed man destroyed a motorbike with a panga in Yei on Thursday and the riders arrested and took him to the county headquarters, Radio Easter reported.Juma David Augustine said the quick action improved security in the county.
Mr David said security was a collective responsibility.
He urged residents to report to the security organs any suspicious or strangers in order to prevent criminality in the county.
The culprit is under police custody awaiting investigations.
