Preparations to resettle 1,700 returnees hosted in the Juba Teacher Training Institute at Kapuri continue.
The new Kuda camp is located 35 kilometres north of Juba on the road to Terekeka.
Humanitarian organizations started clearing the land and drilling boreholes.
They built more than 50 latrines and 10 longhouses and 12 tents to provide temporary shelter until the returnees are fully settled, UNOCHA said in its weekly humanitarian bulletin.
Hand-washing stations, bathing shelters, education services, food assistance, child friendly spaces and other protection services will also be provided at the site.
The new camp should be ready to welcome the 1,700 returnees by November.
