The ANC flag bearer in Lakes State said the only way to end the North-South conflict is self-determination for Southern Sudan.
Gabriel Kuc was speaking at Good News Radio yesterday while presenting the ANC Manifesto.Mr. Kuc said that he predicts that Southern Sudan will vote for independence at the referendum.
He added that in the unlikely event that Sudan remains united after the referendum, the conflict between the Northern and Southern Sudanese will continue.
Mr. Kuc said the North will continue to develop at the expense of the South.
Mr. Kuc said he fully supports a decentralized system of governance as agreed in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
He added that decentralization does not mean that the power belongs to a particular ethnic group because ethnicity is not a factor for decentralization.
Mr. Gabriel Kuc is vying for the position of Governor in Lakes State alongside SPLM Tong Mayay, UDSF Malual Dong and NCP Awan Maper.
